I don't know that "homeless" is the right word to use, but one might say that his plan to move to Vegas might not have been the most solid or well-prepared. I gave him the number to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission one day and I believe he took advantage of that for a little while.

I agree there is some potential humor in it. Simple question - shouldn't be a big deal.
