Continuing the same cycle I've been on since junior high where I go to the gym for 2 or 3 years, then quit for 2 or 3 years.

Today it was once again time to join after a couple of lazy years off.

The difference is that now, it must be all about the cardio. I've never touched a cardio machine in my life. Strictly weights.

With age, grows the stubbornness of the beer belly. I'm not turning into a vegetarian (again) and I'm never quitting beer. So it is time for cardio.

Signed up today and just lifted some weights. Don't want to mess with those other machines until I get my free session with a trainer tomorrow. They scare me.

O, sad day.

Fuck cardio machines, it's a complete waste of time unless you're training for endurance. You just wanna lose fat - any kind of exercise plus the proper diet will get rid of the gut. Emphasis on the diet.

Fuck cardio machines two times.
 
I'm not using anything yet. I'm thinking maybe one of those elliptical things maybe? Tried taking up jogging about a year ago, but within 5 mins, my lower back tightens up real bad for some reason. So maybe something that takes stress off lower back.

I dunno. I'll talk to Stuf McGruffin trainer guy tomorrow and see what he thinks. At least all the cardio machines have a tv on them now :lmao:
 
I feel your pain brother.

As a once A level JSVBA beach volleyball player, I tried to start up again. The weights are still pretty fun, but the cardio sucks more of a cock than ever; not to mention that at the end of my welcome back session at the track to run, my girl (now my ex) beat me in a sprint at the end. Unacceptable.

That being said, you should be proud of yourself for going at all, one step ahead of most.

You got fat from sitting on your ass Breadipoo, not from the Bud Light. Keep drinking beer as your main source of carbs and avoid them elsewhere. Eat all the meat you want + some veggies. Complete with a multivitamin. You won't even need to exercise much.
 
bread...obviously diet is #1, but fuck those machines dude...do the insanity workouts or do Complexes... im doing complexes during my bulk right now and believe me, its plenty of cardio, especially if you do it twice.... whats a complex you ask??? heres a site explaining it all and 4 good videos to show you how to do each exercise...
