lol you guys at home with superfast internet just browsing the web. its like having a Ferrari but you can only drive it in Manhattan at 5pm on a Friday. You can only go so fast.

How fast do web-pages load with a 800Mbps connection compared to 10 or 40Mbps? You couldn't tell the difference.

Now if you're at home actually producing 4K porn vids that need to be uploaded or if you run an e-commerce or internet-based business, then yeah, you could justify needing 100 - 150Mbps, few if anyone needs or utilizes those extreme speeds like 800Mbps etc.

I don't have a huge kok and I still don't need those kinds of speeds, or a Ferrari to compensate.

150mbps upload is fine. Wife does need to upload massive files (typically up to 20 gigs) to a secure network, and I need to trade multi-gigabyte files with my marketing clients.

10mbps is a pain in the butt. Means a 1gig file will take a minimum of 13 minutes to upload, assuming no one else is uploading shit at the same time. 20 gigs will take 4.5 hours vs. 15 mins at my current speed.

Some people need to work, plommerballs.

I hear ya pal, and as I stated if its work related and you transfer big files than yes higher speeds are justified. I don't need it though and most others that have high-speed internet for personal use are good with 30Mbps - 60Mbps down and 10Mbps up speeds.
