i personally have no ill will in regards to what people consume or how they do it. fok, if you are in korea, ur eating dog. vietnam, balut. good chance you will eat anus in africa. for me personally, i would rather eat locally produced food that maintains ethical standard in regards to the treatment of the goods the are producing. can you do this 100% of time, yes, but it is hard. so it would be hypocritical of me to judge. i eat out, i eat fast food, i eat meat, etc.

all about personal choice.

Boo. Hoo.

Poor animals.

The difference is, I really don't care if you eat meat, and I don't think anyone else here cares either.

Yet most meat-eaters will give those who choose to pass a hard time about it. This thread is a shining example, and I dealt with it when I quit for a brief time.

Don't boo hoo for me. Live your life. Do wtf you want. You're not bothering me. Wish I could say the same for you.

If it's not vegetarians, it's chicks who enjoy cock. Why does everyone enjoy tormenting you with their lifestyles, buddy?

How many morons in PETA and other wacko animal rights organizations are pushing for legislation to essentially outlaw it? You should really think before you speak.

As for your last comment, yes, vegetarians are much like jersey chasers to me. A joke.

I will be getting a farm some day, it will be full of various animals, they will be well taken care of and not eaten. My farm will also contain a giant argentian style grill where I will cook and eat other animals daily. I am a hypocrite but I love me some parillada.

Driving back from lunch, we made a joke about the animal control van driving down the street. "Haha, our goat is probably roaming the neighborhood". Guess what. The animal control van was driving down the street because of our escaped goat. He wasn't out long, is back in the yard and doesn't seem any worse for the wear. We spent the afternoon goat proofing.

The goat and the horse are in LOVE with each other. It's so cute, it's sickening. Any time the goat gets spooked he runs to the horse's side. I swear I saw the horse licking the goat like a mom cat with a kitten. The love does not extend to when food is around. Goat tried to steal the horse's hay and promptly got picked up a few inches by the scruff of the neck by very strong horse teeth.

We had a dog house in the back yard custom made by the former owners. It's pretty spectacular, and I'm not quite sure in which way I mean that. It matches our house, colors, trim, peaked roof. We moved it into the corral. The roof lifts off and we found out that the entire inside is carpeted. Swanky digs for Evil Boy.

He now has a collar on and I think in a few more days should be tame enough to pet. Hopefully we've secured the perimeter. But I feel that we might have an escape or two more before we get it totally right.

For dogs, but will work on goats.

I recommend watching the first few times the little fucker gets zapped, its quite funny.

Have a camcorder handy.

I thought about doing that for a second. But our whole back yard is fenced in so it would be overkill. Although it does appeal to me to have a goat roaming around in our front yard. RIP bushes though. The back yard is so overgrown because of my laziness and dislike of yard work, I think Evil Boy is going to earn his keep, at least for awhile.

I know it's only the first week of goat ownership, and I have a tendency to get really excited about things and then not, but I'm really liking it/him. Now I go in the backyard to hang out and feed him and mess around in the hay. Before I would go out there and think about all of the crap I needed to do out there and wasn't doing. It seems like once I'm out there chilling out, I'm actually inspired to fix up stuff and take care of the yard.

But, who knows, in two weeks after he's escaped for the twentieth time and eaten all of the wood siding off the house I might not be quite as amused.

I'm really surprised at how dog like he is. I've never really had any experience with goats. I thought he'd just be standing around. He's pretty "bouncy" and inquisitive.

I was also wondering (not that I would do it) if a bark collar would work on a rooster.
