Yeah, Hanley's .740 OPS in 2012 was HOF material.

The joke works better when you say, "too bad the Marlins can't get players like Miguel Cabrera".

Cause that's actually the worst trade maybe ever.

On December 5, 2007, the Marlins traded Cabrera and starting pitcher Dontrelle Willis to the Detroit Tigers for pitchers Andrew Miller, Dallas Trahern, Eulogio De La Cruz and Burke Badenhop, outfielder Cameron Maybin, and catcher Mike Rabelo.

Terrible facial hair = Jose Reyes

It's like someone challenged him to grow the ugliest possible facial hair configuration.

Eovaldi hits 97 regularly.

Hanley was not well liked in Miami. He dogged it up the line all the time and was lofl defensively regularly.

His .740 OPS in 2012 was not worth what he was getting paid. Trading Reyes was way worse than the Hanley trade.

Marlins traded Nolasco today. For....wait for it..........Dodgers eating the rest of his salary and lie tier spects.

Daft feel free to pony up some cash as well. Since I know you won't believe the actual reasons for his success consider this, from a recent article on the comparisons between DiMaggio's and Puig's starts:

DiMaggio actually hit in worse luck than Puig has -- his batting average on balls in play during that first month was .311, whereas Puig's was an incredible .500. BABIP isn't the answer to world hunger, but in this case it probably should suffice as a hint that we should expect the laws of gravity to reassert themselves sometime soon -- and even then, Puig could give back 200 points and still be incredibly productive. Puig's higher strikeout rate is also a clue. The difference is partially an artifact of different times, but it also suggests a problem for all hitters trying to compile a high batting average: you have to put the ball in play to make it happen, even (and especially) when you have the BABIP fairy working for you.

I'd also like to point out that I tweeted for Fantasy players to watch for Puig in March, before he had taken a swing in the majors.
