seems like I remember quite a few baseball sites talking about how Delgado and Tehran's stock has fallen quite a bit.

in any event, seems like the Braves would have been better off going after a bat for a starting arm, or waiting till trade deadline to get best value for Hanson.

I know the Pirates would have traded Garrett Jones and Josh Harrison for Hanson in a heart beat.

relievers are a dime a dozen, and an unknown quantity year to year.

Yes Revere no Michael Bourn but 6 years younger and guy who has shown is a big leaguer last 2 years! Haven't seen much of his play but numbers project possibility a Juan Pierre in is prime! Luv me Juan as a Phil in 2012 even with diminished skills!

Player B: .257/.317/.446, 7.7% BB, 21.6% K, .331 wOBA, 107 wRC+, -0.7 Fld

Almost identical, right? But wait, this gets even better

Here are the 2010-12 splits against lefties for the very same players:

Player A: .276/.352/.530, .254 ISO, .374 wOBA, 135 wRC+
Player B: .290/.337/.544, .254 ISO, .374 wOBA, 136 wRC+

A is Cody Ross and B is John Mayberry Jr! Reason I hope Phils don't feel desperate in having to get a vet corner OF! Overrated/overpriced OFs is all that is left!

Yes, can't argue that but for what Revere cost, it was better in the Phils situation to have Revere! Money better spent elsewhere!
