Today at 3:37 PM (Eastern) the Oakland A’s will play their final game in Oakland.

The A’s have won the World Series 9 times.

At the conclusion of today’s game at the Oakland Coliseum, Oakland will have lost the Oakland Raiders, the Golden State Warriors and the Oakland A’s.

Tough pill to swallow for longtime Oakland sports fans I would imagine.

The warriors owner bought the team with the intention of moving it to SF. However he would like to buy the A’sand keep them in Oakland.

RIP . I remember consoling my sons for weeks after that

rare to get two historical events in one day - the last game in Oakland, and the potential 121st loss for the White Sox. Did not realize that the A’s won 17 division titles. The pregame show in Oakland is very good.
