Guess it's true a lifetime of watching baseball with not seeing very often the same play, whatever, possibly happening. Last night ....

Well last night Alex Bohm got HBP with bases loaded for a RBI. Then today in Phillies-Mets game, same play to same player occurs. Phils telecast announcer states it's been fifty years since happening back in 1974.

Phillies and Marlins .... talk about polar opposites!

Record
Phils 32-14
Fish 14-32

Run Diff.
Phils +73
Fish -79

Home record
Phils 17-8
Fish 7-17

Away record
Phils 15-6
Fish 7-15

Now here's a crucial figure IMO that isn't part of the above that shows Phillies will have to regress record wise and most likely not as good as their present record.

games teams > .500 record
Phils 1-2
Fish 7-15

LOL Phils 3 were against the Braves. Closest to them Dodgers at 9. Eyeballing it average is about 20+ games. White Sox opposite of Phils at 36 games >.500. Thinking schedule power site must have Phils as easiest schedule to date?

@Boner_18 . Thanks for that. I'm surprised you watched the whole thing(?)

Some incorrect info is implied in this video

There was no FIRE SALE 🔥 in 2004 after winning the World Series in 2003. All they did was trade Derek Lee.

And although the video tries at times to be very "lol Marlins" it really illustrates quite well that with the exception of the Derek Lee and Johan Santana trades (whoops), the Marlins have made a ton of great trades where they shed soon-to-be-expensive players for very good young prospects with tons of team control.

The Marlins are 8-9 since they traded the "best pure hitter in the game" Luis Arraez.

It's a great example of how being terrible defensively and base running and rarely hitting for power can severely diminish the value of an extremely good contact hitter.

The Marlins were 9-25 with Arraez in the lineup.
