sounds like a great idea but I'm flying out of Windsor directly, either to Toronto or Calgary and connecting to a flight to Regina.

The Toronto flight has a window of an hour before the Regina flight takes off so no track for me.

What stopped you from sending a pm to Rogue to ask him directly?

Why was the onus on him to contact you?

I would wager that if you sent him a PM or email privately he would have responded and offered some explanation.

not up to me to chase someone down for answers in a private pm.. it needs to be on the board...i thought about sending a pm, but it really wasnt on me...besides, if he isnt going to respond in a thread, why would he respond to a pm of me asking him if he stiffed someone, imo. ... im a hugh rj fan and he knows exactly where im coming from and knows how i work

someone calls you out, when there is evidence of it being a serious situation, you defend yourself... i understand people wanting to be private, but not in a case where you are being accused of serious shit...after a few weeks, a thread and plenty of comments were made, if you dont come out and respond, it looks like sbrjohn hiding until the smoke cleared.. amirite? you thought the same thing, im just the one who has been vocal about it...

anyways, i cant contact lassorito on fb now and i dont think pm's are 100 private with vbulletin, so i guess we will have to wait and see if he comments on the topic... i have no problems giving rj a hugh apology if needed.. he knows my strong stance on stiffs and wouldnt want me to make any exceptions for anyone... its called character...guys like daft dont have a clue about it, but some still have it.

anyways, sorry if i offended anyone by calling out their friend, but there is obviously more to the story...

Then you should probably have held off making any accusations. People are different and may not respond the way you expected.
You are the person that has the biggest issue with stiffs - I think you would have been better off asking Rogue privately.
He may have given some explanation or told you to fukk off. Either way you would have heard from him.

You believed your suspicions were true because he didn't reply as quickly as you thought he should have.

Why isn't Durito getting any shit for stirring the pot with nothing more than "I'm tired of being stolen from". As proof? Shouldn't he have came clean first? Same with Choo.

Perhaps rouge is as much as or more than a victim as rito. We may never know, which means Rogue should not be thought of as anything other than a good guy.

I've commented a few times about "pros" winning and not being able to collect. If you win and not collect, did you really win? I guess it's like the flip side of Whalewager who had a lot of people who got buried and stiffed. Personally I want someone to pay me, but if you deal with outs that are not A-rated, well...,

he didnt respond for 3 weeks... 3 weeks of asking questions... you thought he was guilty too, as did everyone here... how could you not:clueless: ...i gave it and him some time before i made the conclusion... i asked questions for a while that never got answered...

i already said i have no problem apologizing and im very glad that he has finally defended himself and am happy to hear what he had to say... but lets not get all holy on me when you know good and well that you thought the same thing and know 3 weeks is far too long to take abuse...:yes:

That could be the case here. Either way I can't agree with anyone calling Juror a stiff - How the fuck can he defend himself when there are no specific allegations?

Durito never said Juror stiffed him. He's only hinted.

No, I believed it looked suspicious at first and it could be a possibility, then after some thought and the fact there were crickets from rito figured it was sour grapes.

Ray you were a pit bull from early on, you let your suspicion get the better of you.
Everytime you said something and he didn't march right in and defend himself your belief he was a stiff strengthened.

We still know nothing, and Juror deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Ray, I think you made a mistake by jumping the gun. Still think you're sharp but everyone makes mistakes.
 
you could be right, but if so, then who is stiffing rito and who is choo talking about in the post you made where you highlighted their posts? (in the "can we discuss" thread...late #80s post by you)... someone else involved with the forum that doesnt post? (i think reno commented on that)


that discussion thread was open for 3 days before the silence started to convince me and your post finally did... so i didnt really jump the gun... it was 3-4 days after blitty made the comment till i made mine where i thought there was guilt... maybe that was too soon, but it was looking like rj just wanted the whole thing to be forgotten....

and you did say it was suspicious and didnt say you thought he was guilty too... if i insinuated that you actually said that, i apologize for it :cheers:

i would like to hear the story before dropping it, but i got nothing more for this thread until something else comes about

I learned recently that defending yourself to this peanut gallery is beyond idiotic.

Seriously, does anyone think RJ gives a rats ass what anyone on here thinks of him?

Their are very few people on GL that develop and real friendships.

Basically this site is a kangaroo court with drama on the docket.
