The Durito 500

He just married a beautiful woman, I hope he's not concerning himself with me. When his dust settles we'll get him on it. At the pace I am on he has plenty of time to get back to us. It actually was brought up before and he may have already chimed in on this. It's probably contained in this thread somewhere, I just haven't gone back and looked.

I don't know what this means and I'm not gonna try and figure it out. I'm gonna assume it's not meant to entice me into insulting you but realize it can't be entirely ruled out. I will take it as some sort of hipster good luck type thing that makes me feel not hip, not tuned in and slightly more than a little outdated.

wally just called Bread hispter :lmao:

I haven't been doing additional plays but I want to try and get one more in. I'm hoping the bats die tonight for both LA teams. I wanted to go under for the game but not sure what might happen late but I will give a go for the first 5.

Tonight's Play:

Dodgers/Angels 5-Innings UNDER 5 (-115) WINNER

$100 to win $87.

There was a typo here and it should have been UNDER 4 not 5. It could have been UNDER 1 and it still would have won though as the score going to the top of the 6th inning was 0-0.

1-0 (+$87)
Durito Record: 239-207-7 (+$1425)

Good hit Wally! Was looking at the numbers for Fla-Texas game and of course pussed out on taking the under 5 for 5! Thought you might have been looking at that one too!

Didn't matter like you said since I think if you combined both games the total was under 4! Getting back to your earlier +money so hopefully you will make it to 500 with ease!

Yeah Arch they are and I took a look at that prior to choosing this play. So why make an UNDER play, I wish I had a better explanation than I do but I don't. Combined ERA's lean towards the UNDER, previous games side with the UNDER and I had a feeling when looking at the games that suggested UNDER. I'm by no means super confident but then I never really am but I'll take my chances I guess. I certainly wouldn't try and get anyone to tail.

Today's Play:

Arizona/Milwaukee 5-Innings UNDER 3.5 (+100)

$100 to win $100.

Good luck Wally! Really liking this play! Looking at it last night even though both clubs are explosive Hudson and Marcum have been excellent with like 2.70 and 3.25 FIPs! Plus Braun looks like a no-go? Afternoon game maybe some sun shadows for hitters too?

Looks like and smells like an Over but this out of the box thinking I like my friend! Don't know your exact process of selecting (not asking you to discuss it!) but I always check out your plays before making any myself!

MrMonkey I don't have a problem discussing what I do with anyone. There really isn't anything to it though. I mean like I have said I checkout the ERA's, previous head to head games and each teams past 10 or so games to get a feel for how things are trending. This wasn't working for much of the early season but of late are showing signs of promise. The only thing I have kind of changed is now I am paying more attention to that instinct thing. Hard to describe but it's like when you look over all the games and something just sticks out. I look a little deeper into that or those games when it happens.

I could be wrong but I don't think it much matters what people use or do. The math, the trends, the matchups or whatever as long as you find something that lends support to what you think is an edge then cool. It all looks good when it wins and not so good when it doesn't though.

I wouldn't say they are worthless Durito. Naturally they will fluctuate but there is a baseline to them that can help. They aren't stand alone by any means and they will have trends like anything else. I can understand how some might not want to waste a lot of time with ERA's but I can't see how they could be considered worthless.

Actually if you or anyone else actually saw the various things I incorporate into making any of the plays on any of the sports I cover they might think it's all worthless but it makes me feel as though I have some foundation for the plays even if it is delusional thinking on my part.
