Class for the ones you missed when you went to the wrong one?
These are late coming cause I actually had to work today and have class from 2 to 10 tonight.
Today's Plays:
Minnesota Wild -1/2 REG ONLY (-105) $100 to win $95 WINNER
Nashville Predators MONEY LINE +100 $100 to win $100 LOSER
I gave serious consideration to posting all the games that qualify for tonight and choose only 1 of them to play for the challenge. I may regret not doing that later but I decided to just use all qualifiers.
Tonight's Plays:
Miami-Ohio +8 (-110) LOSER
Temple +13.5 (-110) LOSER
Virginia +5 (-110) WINNER
Rhode Island +12 (-110) WINNER
Rice +5 (-110) LOSER
Purdue -5.5 (-110) WINNER
UNLV +2 (-110) WINNER
FSU +5,5 (-110) LOSER
Air Force +1.5 (-110)LOSER
All are $100 to win $90.
I appreciate the brightside outlook Muddy. Since starting this I have had cards that I thought were terible turn out incredible and cards like last night that I thought were really good turn out not good at all.
I am learning the importance of having options in various books in order to capitalize on the best lines and prices though. Having a decent system or program is great but in order to take full advantage and increase the potential for staying ahead of the curve the numbers are ever important.
Since starting this there have been at least 8 games that I lost due to a 1/2 point. I can't say if any of those games were available at other books 1/2 better or not but if they were that would make a huge difference in where I am at right now.
For me, it's all about the money.
There are the half points and there is reduced juice.
Perhaps there have been 8 games you lost by a half point - and perhaps the 4 pushes would have been turned into wins with another half point (??) - so that half point would have come into play 12 times. A free half point probably wasn't available all 12 times. Lines are pretty synched up these days. But maybe you could have gotten it a few times. That's good. Even if it's only once, it's money.
Out of 208 picks so far, I would guess there was better juice available on 208 of them. That's more money every time.
Money, money, money.
Daft please make an attempt to attend one of Bread's Mini-Bashes this year.
