somebody posted this in tumblr yesterday and it started trending, some optical effect where some people see it as a white dress with gold stripes and others see it as a blue dress with black stripes

what do you see?

its white and gold every time but once for me..im not sure what i was doing when it was blk/blue though think i walked inside from getting the mail... if i look at it long enough, the white will slowly fade to the vaguest of purple tint... i think if you stare at a lightbulb or sit in the dark for a few minutes, you can get the other colors to appear... something to do with the eye rods and shit is what they are saying... fuck that dress though

i saw it white and gold the first time, i continued reading the page and when i scrolled back up to see the pic again i saw it blue and black, now i only see it blue and black

on laptop I couldn't see much of the blue/black. but on iPad starts out white gold and when I scroll down and back up changes to dark clue and black. Weird.

yeah, I think it changed overnight for me too. The lines are more like shit brown than black. Sadcat's right its ugly

In other dress news - which I'm sure someone has talked about on facebook - so I'm on solid ground talking about it here - Lupita Nyongo's Oscar dress - which was made out of pearls and is worth $150,000+ was stolen from her hotel room.

Apparently the surveillance at this place is horrible and providing no clues. One source was quoted as saying that if Ray Rice had done what he did at that place ---> he would have gotten away with it.
