had experience with suicide in family. Mostly agree with what monkey and Mudcat said.

But if you're talking suicide to get attention or make a statement that doesn't make much sense to me. I would guess the majority of suicides are not that. (perhaps in cases of teenagers)

Suicide because there is some terminal illness that will make you suffer either physically or financially to me seems different than suicide based on a life that is just troubled or fok'd up in some way. I guess both can be considered escaping the pain but when that pain is self-induced it does seem a little cowardly to go out early.

As for the argument about attention, Announcing, warning or even around the way discussing the possibility is attention grabbing. Maybe in the form or asking for help or looking for sympathy and maybe as a form of just looking for someone who cares enough to say, no, don't do it. In either event it is for attention. If it wasn't people would just do it without any hoopla.

Bread you're rarely serious and even when you are you tend to be so in an abstract way. If you are contemplating suicide only you know the reason. We can show compassion and say why you shouldn't do it but in the end only you know if your life is at a point where it can't possibly get any better.

I hope this is just some weird frame of mind and a morbid type of questioning but it appears at least reads as Teela is taking it somewhat serious. Don't be a dick to someone who probably cares about you.
