Probably one of the worst things about my job is that people are FASCINATED with this profession. It comes up in 80% of the conversations I'm involved in. It's REALLY tiring.

Daft, I'm glad you said this. The fact that you aren't obsessed with your work (like many cops I know) is a positive sign.
Most if not all of the guys I went to school with that ended up being cops now only socialize with other cops and their lives revolve around law enforcement.
