Ok Mr.X, I stand by my original statement. While I DO NOT defend what was threatened to be done by Blackie in releasing MonkeyFockers personal information or having "friends" pay him a visit, that was Blackie, not RebateWager.

Ok, so before you argue that Blackie is RebateWager, I agree. He is the owner, I’ll also agree that from a public relations standpoint it isn’t in the best interest of the company. That said though, the brand itself has a good reputation of fast payouts, friendly customer service and offering its players a variety of options on bonuses and rewards. Not to mention, no record of wrongful treatment of its players. The brand has done right by its players. While they are one and the same they are also separate.

Now before anyone gets off on. I’m shilling or I am being nave think what you want but my argument stands the same if we were talking about General Motors or any other business.

Your argument is applicable in situations like Enron. There you had corrupt representatives as well as a company that was not doing what was best for their customers/investors.

RebateWager might not be a book for everyone but the “Brand” hasn’t done wrong by its players.

Blackie, the “OWNER” is the one there is a dispute/disagreement/opinion about.

I don’t know a lot about offshore sports books and I raised this very argument prior to my having anything to do with RebateWager. I also have no personal disagreement with MonkeyFocker and his valid dis-like of Blackie, based on the threats levied. In my personal opinion Blackie got defensive and took it too far and it wasn’t handled in a professional manner. Equally though, MonkeyFockers original argument about an alleged arbitration was proven to be baseless and taken care of but he remained in MonkeyFocker mode.

If there is more to the feud then I can’t comment on. I am only stating my opinion on what I saw.

Bread, if I have to choose I choose my freedom. I am grateful to have the opportunity I have been given at RebateWager but I won't be told what to think or say. I've tried to express myself as impartially as I can. If anyone reads more into anything I have said than what I actually put into words then not much I can do about that.
 
Investors of RebateWager might want to tell Blackie to stay off the fucking boards. Guy can't spell and doesn't intelligently represent "HIS" book. Same goes for SBR John. Your business is only as good as those who represent it. And if you are to even JOKE about giving personal sign-up information, you have just breached the trust of many.

Robyn, at what point did I say, imply that Blackie's actions were a good thing or could not even be detrimental at times to his company? All, seriously ALL I have said is that RebateWager has done nothing wrong by its players.

These things said are personal as they pertain to Blackie and I have even agreed. Seperate the hate.

It started with “The Incident” and continued throughout this year. I tried to rationalize that he was probably just humiliated in that particular case but over time he showed that it is more a characteristic. I don’t hate the guy but we just are from different view points on enough issues that I don’t care for the guy.
 
I think the attempt to separate Blackie from "the brand" is ludicrous. Even if they are completely separate entities, "the brand" clearly allows Blackie to have access to customer information despite his behavior on the boards and "the brand" is therefor complicit in those threats.

If you just felt that Blackie's offerings and payout records far outweigh some questionable behavior on the forums I'd have to agree that you may be right.

If what was being said was,"I would be leary of RebateWager because of the owner is a questionable ethics/profressionalism" than I could agree with it. This thread clearly is titled "RebateWager Sucks" but everything inside entails, Blackie has access, Blackie has made veiled threats, Blackie said Bread lives in a basement". The only comment directed SOLEY at ReabateWager was Muddy and while it wasn't glowing it was hardly negative.
