Yeah I don't get it. Why is it necessary to engage in ass covering. Why not just do the right thing from the start all the way through?

Ray Rice is that big of a star that the NFL will lose megabucks if they suspend him a sensible amount? Would suspending Ray Rice for 6 games cost the NFL 2 cents?

I guess that was the initial thinking. But then Goodell publicly admits he was wrong. Well good. But was that sincere or did he just become increasingly sure this new vid would go public?? (Not that it should change anything but maybe he guessed the stupid reaction.) And then yesterday he claims he just saw it for the first time??

Schemey weasely stuff going on when life is so much simpler to just be straight forward and honest. :dunno:

Jesus fuck of course he will play again. Unless he decides he doesn't want to for some reason. People can't learn lessons from stuff that happened two seconds ago.
 
I am starting to see Goodell more and more as a blundering boob. Took awhile to sink in for me. Bountygate for example kinda looked interesting - even impressive - as a show of power and authority - on the surface - but step back and look what actually happened ---> fokken boobish.

This deal with Ray Rice is stunningly nonsensical and directionless.
 
On a side note, I am really amazed at how much people are seeing in this video. Like one guy (drama-queen?) on the radio was talking about it being an image that would be burned into his brain for the rest of his life or some damn thing.

I can't actually see anything. I see shapes kinda moving intermittently and I infer what happened. That's about it.

Maybe it's just me.

This sucks for Goodell. I am sure lonely ex drug addicts is a demographic he is really hoping to get support from.
 
havent read anything or watched sportscenter today... did the league admit to having the"inside elev." tape the whole time? until that comes to light, im going to argue that they didnt... the nfl throws out brutally bad suspensions all the time and the 2 games wouldnt have fit if they had all the tapes... i believe it would have been a season suspension or worse if they actually had that tape from the get go.

keep the pressure up , house :yes:... until you start watching jeopardy, muddy will always consider you a simpleton
