This is the only Kip I've known.

Basically against any negative religious-based norms in society.

Somewhat but bringing Satan into it is ghey. They think they have come up with a clever angle - like, hey, let's call it satanic - but we'll sort of change the meaning of it - omygawd so neat! - but no, just ghey.

So is Kip short for Richard always or not?

The Kip I knew was a pretty good guy. Short understated, soft spoken, but kinda tough. Nobody messed with Kip

Kip Keino was one of those prodigious African long-distance runner. Skinny black guy. Kenyan, I'm gonna say. 70's I'm gonna say.

He was the best in his time. Olympic gold medals and whatnot.

Had to do some follow-up on that one.

Yap Kenyan and yap 2 gold medals.

He wasn't so much "one of those African long-distance runners," as the original - and the inspiration of generations which led to Kenya becoming a powerhouse in the discipline.

In his case, Kip is short for Kipchoge.

Not as skinny as I was remembering.

I was in Walmart yesterday looking for nail clippers and you gotta go into women's cosmetics to get them. So I finally find them and this large black guy was getting a pair, I figure he's done so I casually step in front of him to get a pair. He slams his clippers into his cart and angrily says "excuse ME" and I step back and give him a friendly "sorry, bud" which he ignores.

All this over $2 nail clippers and decades of slavery, sheesh.
