That doesn't sound right at all.

The toenail on my big toe, right foot, basically fell off. My toes have been really numb and tingly too. My friends said its bc I've been partying for a week and my circulation is off. I'm wondering if I should go to a doctor. The toe where the ail ripped off/ fell off doesn't really hurt - I have very little feeling in my toes... Thoughts?
How long have the toes been numb? I wouldn't wait too long on that. Do you have another toenail base under the one that ripped off? I agree with Nina that it could be a toe fungal issue...have you been wearing new or ill fitting shoes lately? I would see a doctor if the numbness doesn't quit in a day or two.

OR:
Maybe Chris ripped it off when you were asleep to keep as a memento.

Update from the office ping pong tournament - 1st seed M. Rain wins the Advanced division and advances to the office-wide finals after disposing of 5th seed G. "Octopus" Novis in 3 straight sets (21-18, 22-20, 21-19)

Rain will now face his practice partner and winner of the Intermediate division, N. Farra (12th seed). N. Farra's unorthodox style has proven effective at times, but the 30yo Chilean has a reputation for crumbling under pressure.

Rain is installed as an 8-to-1 favorite to win his first major title.

You play ping pong at work?!!

The biggest room in the office, by far, is the ping pong room, which doubles as a yoga room on Tuesdays.

We had wristbands made with the company name embroidered on them, just for our ping pong tournament. Plus the senior management team just agreed to buy a whole stack of paddles for the paddle-less among us who would like to pick up the game.

Yeah we pros.

Speaking of plastic wrap, I am pissed off about the state of things. I buy the cheap no-name plastic wrap so maybe there is only myself to blame, but specifically, the "cutting blade" is just pathetic.

The wrap itself - excellent. It is value for the money that can't be beat. But the sawtooth strip is ridiculous. It's wimpy and it doesn't stay stuck firmly to the box like it needs to be. You end up basically tearing the wrap apart.

You develop a technique and it basically works but it's all just like :fok:

Bunch of long-haired pot-smoking hippies!

Plastic wrap is important. My dad spent his whole career working for Dow Chemical, makers of Saran Wrap. Now that is an excellent product. Good wrap, good saw-toothed strip. Growing up, we always had cases of the stuff lying around and our leftovers were always as well preserved as humanly possible.

Also my dad very famously worked for a butcher in his younger days so we were often regaled with horror stories of things going bad. He had seen some things, my dad. So if anything sat anywhere unwrapped for a second longer than necessary, there was going to be a lecture.

As a result I have gone through life with extreme wrapping consciousness. I couldn't leave something unwrapped if I tried. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

Premium product though, Saran Wrap. You can probably by 3x the no-name stuff as Saran Wrap. I am not in a position to ignore that kind of savings.
