It's funny (sad? absurd?) how some people never grow up.

I joined a Facebook Group whose theme is the little area where I grew up.

I was amused at a couple of guys who started talking about a little party spot along the creek which we called the Oil Factory.

The tone of their comments was how we had the cops running in circles thinking it was an actual laboratory producing drugs that they could never find and we had them outsmarted and boy o boy, we just kept going back there and partying and we sure did teach them a lesson and drive them crazy. LOL really hard!



Yes. I'm sure they thought of us as master criminals. I'm sure when they got word they were going to raid the Oil Factory - where they would inevitably scatter a bunch of spoiled suburban teens, possibly catching one that they could ticket for drinking underage - maybe another with a half gram of hash - who would then go to court and get an absolute discharge ---> I'm sure they felt like they were saving the world and their career was being made on the spot.

I'm sure those cops still have nightmares about every kid who scampered away from the Oil Factory at that critical point in the history of law enforcement.



50 year-old guys who still think that way. Oy vay.

The town next to me is like that Muddy, except a few still wear their letterman's jackets to the bar. I guess that is pretty good at 50.

The college kids that swing through get annoying they like to try to pick up on Cami and they don't care if I'm there when it happens or not
