I don’t like being called honey or baby, they both sound so disingenuous. Waitresses for years would call you sweetie or sugar but lately it’s like they have taken some new training course that has instructed them to call patrons homey or baby. I leave a bigger tip for sweetie than I do for baby.

Wakky, what kind of establishments do you go to where the waitresses call you homey??

The plane crash scene is really badass.

Apparently he gained 55 pounds in pre-production and then they stopped filming while he did 4 months of calorie reduction and 2 hours in the gym everyday.

It really was a remarkable performance. Not just because of those physical demands but overall. It would not have been unreasonable to give him the Oscar except that would have been 3 in fairly rapid succession and they shy away from that.
