Muddy, I hate tap water, I never drink it. When I first moved out here, it smelled like straight up rotten eggs. I hated showering in it because it smelled so bad, like worse then well water. It got better, but that first 6 months -year was nasty.
one of the few lucky things about living in this shitty city, we have some really great water...the memphis aquifer is possibly the best you can find in the states...still, i use a Pur filter...just gives it an extra clean taste
The water from the city is fine. There was a recent report about how tap water here is actually better for you than bottled water. There was a study with some deluxe data and it was delivered by a trusted news anchor so it was all like
My building on the other hand sometimes has stuff going on. They will shut off the water periodically to do some work down there, and when they turn it back on, you have to let your water run for 5 minutes because it starts out rust colored. Maybe when I filled up my Brita thing the last time it was immediately after they had done some work but I didn't know. I could picture it. Me whistling and looking off in another direction with my head in the clouds while my pitcher cheerfully fills up with rust-water.
I do not always pay close attention to those sorts of details in life.
I'm not actually worried about it - I'm sure it's chock full of special iron and vitamins - but it is just more tasty than I'm used to.
