I think I am going to ask that attractive lady in my building over for coffee.

So we finally met for coffee. I went in with the idea of just being good neighbours and not being overly worried about impressing her in a relationship sense but we seem spookily compatible.

Like in the course of conversation I threw it out there that I am a recovering alcoholic/addict - turns out she is a 7 years sober alcoholic. We are both single, both turning 50 this year, both fitness conscious, both more keep-to-ourselves types than social butterflies. We had a good talk about some movies and musicals - she is very knowledgable. Both cat lovers. Both have an interest in writing.


I feel sure we will continue to get to know each other better.

This made me very happy.
 
Jeopardy came up because we were talking about the Golden Globes and the Oscars - and she said she actually finds the GG's more watchable - and I said I understood that but I am more focused on the Oscars because it is much more of a repeating Jeopardy category. Which led to that whole thing. She has a relative who has qualified for it in the past.

Physical activity she is into: cycling. !!!! Again we return to the concept of spookily compatible. She also walks and is a member of a gym in town.
