I prefer the Hilton Head beaches. It's not too far.

Mr. M stayed at a fantastic place in downtown Savannah. Old Harbour Inn, I think? Mermaid cottages on Tybee are nice (or so I've been told). The only hotels that I stayed at in Savannah (prior to moving) were the Hyatt and some other hotel on River Street that I can't remember...possibly because I was slightly inebriated after too many "Call a Cabs" at Wet Willie's.

I am proud of myself, I learned how to reconfigure my touch pad so it can scroll with one finger touch horizontally or vertically.
Fucking cool as shit man! It's lack of scrolling capabilities on the touchpad was the one thing I hated about this computer, and so now, I fully love it.

Why is popcorn such a big deal in Chicago? Long lines all weekend in from of that Garrett shop.

And why do people - drivers and pedestrians alike - systematically disregard traffic signals? Never seen anything like it - organized jaywalking all over downtown. Drivers retaliate by running red lights all the fokken time. :stevie:

You've obviously never been to NYC then..

You should go down to the financial district (Wacker Dr. area) on a weekday. Professional jaywalking at its finest.

I actually got stopped by a cop the first week I moved to Vegas for jaywalking. Pretty big "WTF?" moment for me at the time. LOL.

I've been to NYC about 10 times blitterballs. It's not the same in Chicago. People are collectively confused and/or careless. Most jaywalking is done purposely, like one is on a mission. Not in Chicagoland.

They just don't care because they have the right of way even if they're in the wrong. Hit them and they get a paycheck.

Here, if you're jaywalking and get plowed by a semi... no soup for you.

cool, i imagine when you were in chicago trading is when you got heavy into it

when i get to the US i get zero urge, haven't touch a cig since September, but when I was down there i was smoking everyday for 7 months, weird geographical habit
