One thing that is not entirely clear is your stats. You said teen smoking was up 21% but you didn't say up from what. That could mean pretty much anything.

Or did you mean that teen smoking is up to 21%.

Muddy, I didn't write the report I just heard it. They said smoking was up 21% in teenagers That's all I remember hearing. Had I known there would be a quiz I wouldn't have posted.

I have a Dairy Queen Blizzard in my freezer. I will pull it out later and let it warm up for a few minutes - because it will be too hard right away - and eat it.

Too bad Mad Men is over. It would be the perfect thing to have while watching a new episode of Mad Men. Anyway I have stuff to watch. I have a season of Burn Notice on DVD and a bunch of movies. I will find something suitable to watch while eating a Dairy Queen Blizzard.

The flavor is French Silk Pie. That is going to be some good.

I think we can thank our kinfolk( rednecks like us) for those descriptive sayings. Our people had a way with words.

As I sit here at the car dealership waiting for my car to be serviced, I am thinking about Martin Scorcese.

Is it possible that the Aviator is his best film? I have re-viewed a number of his films lately and I consider The Aviator to be the best of them. Well, it's basically neck-and-neck with Goodfellas.

Only thing is I haven't seen Taxi Driver for a long time and I also haven't seen The Departed since it first came out so, although I don't remember them as being as good as The Aviator or Goodfellas, they are not fresh in my mind.

I haven't seen Hugo at all. Hopefully soon.

One thing that stands out for me is that I don't find Scorses to be good at showing human relationships. He has a tendency to just throw his characters together without any attempt to demonstrate why they might like each other. It's like, they meet - BOOM - they are in a relationship. He just throws them in a bag because that's what he needs to get where he's going. In particular, I found that in Casino, Raging Bull, Bringing Out The Dead.
