Anthony Davis' appearance - it makes me sad.

Actually I recall him saying he is keeping the unibrow on purpose. He thinks of it as a trademark or some damn thing. Poor dumb fuck.

I wonder if he feels the same way about the teeth. Such confusing teeth. The top row are so reasonable and orderly but the bottom . . . anarchy.

We're getting annoyed with these aimless apartment visitors. We suspect that many of them schedule viewings as some form of social outing.

Kooky old man - Oh, I see by the Cat5 cable on your floor that you don't use wi-fi. Very well. That's much better for your kids.

Me, pointing to wi-fi router right next to my foot - We do use wi-fi. And we don't have kids.

Kooky old man, smiling and nodding approvingly - Very well.

He must be worried that your non-existent kids' gaming will have latency issues or that their streaming of Sesame Street will be interrupted by buffering issues.

Perfectly understandable.

Cuba-trained doctors making difference around the world

SANTA CLARA, CUBAEvery morning, on the edge of town, you can witness a spectacular migration. Hundreds of students in white lab coats pour from a squat university building on to the street, around the line of horse-drawn wagons, and into nearby hospitals.

To put the schools size in perspective: the University of Toronto has 850 medical students and Harvard University has 735. ELAM has twelve times more students than those two schools combined: 19,550. And, despite being a poor country, every single one of those students is on full scholarship.

That's a really cute picture with the doll and doctor with a stethoscope.

I'd be more impressed if they showed a radiologist analyzing an MRI or an oncologist administering radiation therapy.

I guess you would but impressing you was not the motivation behind my post.

I'll keep your comments in mind next time I post to impress, pal.

liar.
