No. Not being around during the day, I am far less conscious of the minutiae taking place in front of my balcony. As far as weekends, I haven't noticed him in as long as I remember.

Maybe he is somewhere dying of the AIDS.

Do girls not like Pink Floyd? I never gave it much thought until last night when I was watching a David Gilmour concert DVD and every audience shot showed a sea of dudes.

I have always been a huge Floyd fan. They were my absolute favorite band from the time I was ~15 until I got to the point where I stopped talking about favorite bands. But they are still right up there. The concert footage where they did Echoes was just fucking GREAT!

But I'm trying to think back on any girls I have known who shared my enthusiasm about Pink Floyd and I'm not remembering any. Maybe I always assumed they did but they actually didn't.

where can I find it, been looking for it, wanna watch it but not interested in buying it.
Netflix sucks HUGE donkey dicks. they need more music docos ...thats about all I watch on there
Pearl Jam20 was a good one, but they took it off after 2 weeks..
now I'm stuck watching Motorhead, Sex Pistols, and way to many Kurt Cobain, Nirvana shit...

although they do/did have Pink Floyd making of DSM

If anyone is interested, here is the tune I was so excited about before. I have probably oversold it now - it still needs a lot of work - but what can I say? I got all giddy about hearing myself on the stereo.

Anyone with an excellent memory may recognize that I posted this song at gamelive before as a one-take Youtube vid with guitar and vocal. The lyrics have changed a bit since then.

Yes it was a David Gilmour live DVD. I don't know exactly how recent but fairly - it was the tour in support of his latest solo CD (which I think is called On an Island ??) This concert was in Poland. Must be about a year ago or so.

I gotta be honest, I don't like that CD very much at all. I didn't watch any of the new album stuff. We went straight to near the end when he rather surprisingly jumps into Astronomy Domine - which I was not expecting at all and I thought was a total blast - then he did a full concert version of Echoes - which was just freaking magnificent for the Pink Floyd aficionado.

Then there was another song I had never heard of and we skipped, then he did Comfortably Numb which was the last encore song.

My buddy owns the DVD. I don't know where he got it. I can ask.

When I went to Milan a few years back, I said "Wow Italy Sucks."


Then I went to Rome, and I'm like "Yep, it definitely sucks."


Now just to confirm for everyone: "It totally blows here."


Every group of guys you see are singing and kissing each other.


I'm in this stupid country 3 more days.




Can't wait to meet up with some pre-planned international trim in Croatia/Slovenia.
