yeah but with your bankroll isn't every wager a 7k swing?

nah, i bet a lot of markets and books that have pretty small limits. this one i just happened to catch a couple different books on.

bet a bunch of soccer and hockey props at $50 a pop at an sb skin this morning because i had nothing better to do and no accounts that arent limited.

It is amazing to me how easily my new electric guitar goes out of tune. Every time I pick it up - even if I was just playing as few hours prior - it is out of tune - and not just a little.

That is unlike my acoustic 12 string which can stay in tune for a couple days and when it goes out it only goes out a little bit.

The electric is a lot easier to tune though. Tuning the 12 string is a commitment but tuning the electric only takes 1 3/4 seconds.

You are aging in between sessions/tunings so maybe it's your trained ear more than the guitar being out of tune. I fickle brain can play tricks on you. A finely tuned brain that leads a mundane 9 to 5 and may or may not have been bumped several times over the years or a mind that needs to stop thinking of sex and actually have some sex can sometimes be more fickle than an actual fickle brain.

Stringing (and string-stretching) technique is more important on an electric with thin strings than on your average acoustic. First thing you should do Muddy is restring the guitar with thicker strings - we highly recommend Ernie Balls Slinky's, 10-46.

They'll be more stable and less prone to going out of tune under the vise-grip touch you've developed after decades of playing acoustic only. Electrics require a much lighter touch (unless you're SRV and you're using boat cables (13-58) on your guitar.)
