Jesus Christ Monkey don't start today!
MrMonkey has gotten very preachy ever since MrsM informed him he is a believer.
i like the gel writers muddy
I think I might switch to using some nice pens.
I am always using cheap disposable pens of the ballpoint variety. Plain old plastic pens with a cap. I have a box of Papermates here right now. Good pen. Not complaining.
But I have a couple mugs full of pens and some of them look pretty good. Talking about a more substantial pen which you twist or click to make the business end come out. I think I will start using those.
Some of them must have been there for 20 and 30 years. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them was a high school graduation present. High school was a long time ago for me (yet the memories are so vivid. Ah well, that's another story).
I guess the reason I haven't used the good pens is because they have replaceable ink cartridges. That seems so much more involved and possibly expensive than just buying these Bic or PaperMate jobbies by the box. Replaceable cartridges? I just don't go there. So the pens just sit in the mug.
Well I'm going to start using them. I don't see myself buying replacement ink cartridges for them when they run out. I'll probably just chuck them.
Seems a waste in a way but less of a waste than just having them sit in a mug until I die.
This will be a treat. A bit of luxury in my work day.
Deluxe pens.
Are you a Scrooge, Muddy?
Mid-life crisis much? What next, 24lb copy paper? For the love of God Muddy, slow down.
