Oh man that was great. The one to original music was even funnier. What a nutjob.


Yesterday was pretty outrageous. I was hardly buzzed when I arrived and went out to the pits. I'm standing on the edge of the pit and this death metal band is on stage. No clue who they were but they all looked really scary.

The lead singer looks like Conan the Barbarian, and he yells out "I WANT THAT PIT TO GO FUCKING CRAZY FOR THIS NEXT SONG! SEND SOMEBODY TO THE FUCKING HOSPITAL!!!!"

And some sick angry song starts up and people go apeshit. I mean, I'm never scared of any mosh pits, and I was a bit frightened. Elbows, fists, boots, bodies flying everywhere. Pure clusterfuck.

I went in real quick just to break the ice, and quickly went back to the beer stand to chug a few cups of liquid courage. Spent most of the remaining day in the pit after that.


For the headliners we head to the seated part of the venue. I was able to sneak up a full section (twice) which was awesome. Godsmack was crazy awesome. Disturbed was insane. Fun.

Just remembering the time I tested the old saying, a watched pot never boils. I had heard people say a watched pot never boils and it never seemed right to me.

So I poured some water in a pot and set it on high heat and watched it.

It boiled.

A watched pot never boils? Complete fallacy. In fact I feel pretty confident in saying a watched pot, heated appropriately, boils EVERY TIME.




Also, time is NOT money.
