Apparently I will be pretty much expected to work the last Saturday of every month.

I had completely overlooked that this is a long weekend - so I will still have the 2 days off; they are just shifted. I'll be around Monday.

Good thing someone spelled that out for me today or I probably would have showed up for work on Monday.

I am still not quite in tune with the working world but I am getting there.

Not bad.

For years, I had personalized plates that said MUDCAR. That came about as a result of a song I wrote called Mudcar about a beat up old car I used to drive. Then that all indirectly led to us naming the kitten Mudcat - which in turn led to my current online Mudcat condition.

So that is some fascinating history there for you.

took kids to swim at a creek and old man comes out bitching that he owns the creek we need to stay of his land.
politely told him to fuck off in a respectable way cause the state/public owns all creeks and rivers.

he tells me he owns the land under the water, so if I cant walk on water then I'm on his property:hahaha:

yea, we stayed and swam
told him to call the sheriff , sheriff never showed up

but he's got a history of this, its a popular place to go swim here for river rats like us that dont own pools.
he's got good intentions I guess, cause kids have drowned there in the past but that doesnt change the fact he doesnt own the FUKING CREEK.

had a drunk get killed swinging off a rope swing at another creek few weeks ago and the DNR went and cut down all trees with rope swings. WTF???

I just heard that song People Are People by Depeche Mode. It was on and I was unconsciously following along and not really paying attention. Suddenly it occurred to me:

People AREN'T people.

They've got this whole song that has been circulating for decades and everyone accepts it but it's all a lie.
