Has anyone found any studies on the effect of windspeed and direction of the wind on scoring in MLB? How do you quantify it?

Usually in miles per hour.

I would give you some insight, but you'd probably just put it in your next book.

Pretty funny. It's actually one of the most simplistic regressions that you could possibly run. And the guy actually wrote a book on modeling.

That's a grey area with me actually. One of the big reasons I'd rather wager in Vegas is that they can't cancel wagers. If you concede that books can cancel wagers on bad lines, then I don't really see the difference between a fat-fingered typo or cloning a typo. The subsequent line moves were probably automated. The line was up for less than an hour at the open. I don't know. Tough call.

I love how he admits to not having calculated HFA since the league restructured too. He's brilliant.

beds in both. I spend alot of time in the spare bed room. I'm a restless sleeper, snorer, farter, ect. its nice to have a place to go when one is angry too.
