I apologize about screwing around with the GLBB thread. I'm just a goofball. And I would try to do it right but I think I have AADD. No, seriously my memory is slowly going and I can't seem to keep my mind on something for long. I'm a scatterbrain it seems.
 
So even though I have money now I'm very tentative to play on online poker sites, it always seems like you get steamed up big then it's rigged until you bust - plus I don't have a job.

Anyway, Betonline gives me 50 free slot spins which turns into like $28. Brought that to like $100 grinding low stakes, then just hit this monster:

Neagranufan (yeah I like Danny, he can be a little flamboyant but he's a maestro) wins $164.87 from the main pot with AAAJJ.

The board pairs, the dude has a straight, and he calls my all in? BUSH LEAGUE.

We are over $200 now FREEROLLIN.

Oh boy, time to come clean. If there's one thing Steves is, it's real - no matter how ridiculous it is.

Here's what happened here.

First, I got cleaned out at Betonline.

Then I decided to give Pokerstarspa another shot. I have some money now, how badly could it go?

HERE'S HOW BAD - 3k IN ONE FUKKIN WEEK. The site is ridiculous. I flop a set, opponent turns or rivers a set. Had a $900 pot where I flopped the Ace high flush and opponent (whom I had labeled as a fish) flops the straight flush - two cards to make it.

RIGGED BULLSHIT.

Steves is DONE with internet poker and from here on out will only play live - where he is a proven winner.

FUCK!

I've thought about it because I'm a tight player and playing a different casino every night where people don't know me would be conducive to success.

So many terrible stories about it though. Scary.

I'll probably just go back to being a night time reg at Rivers when my UC runs out and see if I can make that work.

Stevie, I feel for you. Know you didn't expect on losing that much but maybe a real plan would have been good. Like if serious putting aside 2K to lose and going to Vegas. I would think Spirit has $250 round trip deals and RC would know better about $50 hotels where all you want from them is to get some sleep. Same with food figuring you might get better food and cheaper than Wow market. If things work out and you get most of that money back, then you're a Player and if still not working maybe try your hand face-to-face in Vegas to see if it's in you.
 
Hear you Stevie that's why you have a set amount to lose and self-control if that's you choice to give it a shot. I would think RC could give you plenty of heads up advice on Vegas so you don't arrive at a disadvantage. Best advice I could give you if I went to Vegas or anywhere foreign to me, TRUST NOTHING THAT MOVES!
 
I'm sure you could find cheap rooms, but food is not cheap anywhere near the strip. Of course poker rooms will comp you $1 an hour, which doesn't mean much when a sandwich is $17. :laugh:
There are many options though, and with a little good sense and discipline you can find a routine that works for you.
