Random thoughts

I'm seriously considering a self-haircut. Probably this weekend.

Lol same. I missed a good one by a good shop by one freaking day.

Scared, Steve's has an admittedly large forehead and anything resembling a buzz cut whatsoever is not a good look.

Might have to hold out and be looking like a hippie guard for a bit.

Friend told me to get a Foobee, whatever the fuck that is.

Preliminary stages of getting back into the dating game. I find Zoosk to be a good site for that. Not everyone is an e-whore like on POF, but not everyone wants to get married tomorrow like on Match.

First bite is an RN and she's pretty cool. Divorced with kids, but shit I'm 44. I don't think she'd want to be part of the Highly Suspect My Crew Is Dope fan club but I can understand that, I guess.

With any luck I can get her posting here and I can buy her a keg and a water heater.

Now, about that haircut.

The internet.

I still remember seeing it for the first time at Scot Monteys house, maybe '90? '91? Prodigy account over some 5400 or something. Didnt know it at the time but within 5 years and beyond that shit was about to blow our fucking minds. And if only our 8 year old brains could have imagined the porn, good lord.

Xennials like me remember the Challenger explosion.

Wanna hear something fucked up?

I was eleven years old when that happened. At that time I was the guy with great grades but also a class clown, always trying to outsmart the teacher I didn't really like.

So anyway the shuttle is launching, and she asks me to go take a look on the TV in the cafeteria, see what's going on, and report back.

I come back, she asks me and I say to the class "it blew up". Most laughed and she got pissed. I actually don't remember what happened after that.

True story.

I remember when I heard about Challenger. I was in my car with the radio on, stopped at a red light, heading south on Hwy 10 at Steeles Ave.

There's was quite a bit of traffic. Lots of cars all around. I was alone in my car though.

One of those things. Very specific memory.

I was coming home from school (I was 7 years old, walking home with my twin every day after school - that's wild now that I think about it.) Anyway we entered the house and my mom was just staring at the TV. We all watched the replay a couple times, in silence, before acknowledging each other.
