I used to actively dislike Talking Heads when I was in high school and they were happening RIGHT NOW. One of those stupid things. I had ideas about the music I was supposed to like and "new wave" was definitely not part of it. I wasn't actually listening - I was starting the argument with the answer I wanted to reach.

Now I think they're one of the greatest things since sliced bread.

Completely dope. Guitarist looks exactly like actor Chris Elliot and is unbelievable. Lead singer is a nut and does Byrne to a tee. Very tight, tons of energy and they played two full sets for about 3.5 hours I think. Highly recommended.

Very groovy. My buddy was explaining to me how TH were writing tunes way ahead of their skills and had to hire out a bunch of musicians to help play them, interesting problem to have. Will have to check out that movie. This band is doing a full cover of it in a couple months so I believe we're going to that too.

Everyone here is invited except hot stuff. We haven't decided on Bart.

I despise them but that is a true story. SMS was a pretty big movie when it came out.
