There is large room downstairs filled with storage lockers. In one area, there is this unofficial spot where people leave small items they don't want anymore. Lamps. Old laptops. Books. It's against building code but it's tolerated since items tend to come and go quickly. I scored some brand new shoes once.

This thing just appeared today. Might be a while before it finds a foster family.

I gave it a closer look and it's in rough shape. The controller "shelf" part is coming loose and there's some water damage on the side and back panels. I doubt it works.

Coworker of mine built himself a MAME cabinet. I want one of those.

More than 2 billion in unclaimed lotto prizes go unclaimed every year. There was one of 63 million expiring in California yesterday.

Can you imagine finding a winning 63 million dollar ticket a week after it expired? That has to be the worst feeling in the world.

It bothered me when I was a kid, then it didn't....I even smoked for a time in my college days...but it just grosses me out now. My housesitter/painter smokes (I had forgotten that) and it was just thick in his clothes and luggage. Making him wash everything and zero smoking in the house.

I thought he would be here for 10-14 days...he says he was figuring on going back beginning of March? WTH? Can it really take that long to take down wall paper and paint a house? Granted I'm a little slow on the colors, but this is not what I signed up for. It's nice to have company...but not for a fucking month!l Of course I'll be gone 9 of those days, but still.

Trying to say lives in cabin and it's from wood heating his place. No way. I like the smell of burning wood. This is cigarette smoke. I can even smell it in the paint chips he brought.

On a positive note, sense of smell problems is one of the earliest signs of Alzheimers, so feeling pretty good about that.

Spammers are going to kill social media as we know it. Prolly not a bad thing.
