It's not what I like but I don't consider it weird.

Kinda like the many people I have heard say they like cold, day-after pizza.

Not my preference but dammit, fill your boots.

Someone I know uses that expression. It basically means, enjoy to the max ----> fill your boots.

:dunno:

I don't like day old pizza. I do however like day old stale Peeps. I guess if I will admit to eating the once every 4-5 years Peep, I can own up to liking it stale.

..an expression I am working on bringing back..."On the beam." It essentially means "on the right track." I will occasionally hear an odd expression and try to incorporate it into daily conversation. I did that with "on the beam" for a few days. GL should pick one of those expressions and try to get it to catch on.

I use ellipsis entirely too often...

You know what would be weird? If everyone liked the same things. Everyone agreed on what is the best food and music and movies/TV and art and hobbies - and cats being better than dogs.

I guess it wouldn't be weird if it was reality - because we would all be used to it - but compared to actual current reality ---> weird.

I remember when people - in attempting to illustrate the sparseness of fucks they gave about something - would use the saying, "Here's a quarter, call someone who cares."

I'm sure I used that. It was never a go-to thing for me, but I am sure I tried it on for size more than once.

There was a country song called that.

I would guess there is a significant and growing segment of the population today that has never used a pay phone.
