Time flies by

And as I get older I find that it keeps flying by.

Like when I was younger, sometimes it didn't work that way. There would be things where I wanted time to speed up - waiting for Christmas or whatever - and they screwed me around and made time slow down.

But now, it basically just keeps flying by no matter what.

It flies by.
 
Something else I remember that is maybe quasi-related.

There were times in my younger days when I took a lot of drugs and got so I was sleeping 16+ hours a day. At those times I would often lucid dream. i.e. dreams where you know that you are dreaming.

Extreme drug abuse aside, I was a fairly normal young man so when I started lucid dreaming, I would look to do sexual stuff. You were free to do whatever to/with whomever so that's what a lot of guys are going to do when lucid dreaming. Sex.

What I remember though, is sometimes there would be someone I really wanted to have sex with in real life. And I would see them in my dream but as soon as I approached them to start the action, they would turn into something else. And it was like, the more I wanted them the more sure it was they would turn into something else.

It pissed me off. The desire was coming from my brain and the dream was in my brain.

Why was my brain working against my brain?
 
is that what lucid dreams mean? I thought it was like really realistic dreams?

in any event, I think your brain knew to work against your COCK-brain....... because between your brain and your cock...... the brain knows best 96.5% of the time...


which is odd.... because in the MOMENT of your body succumbing to your cock's wishes. a big part of your brain is cheering you on and feeling pleasure.

Man o man o man . . .

I think I have finally finished a song I have been working on. It has been the most stubborn, frustrating song-writing experience I may have ever had. I have been hammering away at this thing for months.

But I think I have finally got it figured to the point where I can record it and move on to the next thing.
