I haven't seen Conway for a long time.

Conway is a local character. We're not sure exactly what the deal with him is. He wanders the streets a lot. He is out there even in the rain. In fact I have seen him just sitting under the tree in front of my building in the rain. Just sitting there, no doubt getting wet. I don't think he is an actual street person, not totally. He walks laps around the apartment building across from me sometimes and I have seen him go inside. He is often seen at the food bank but he is fat as hell so he is sure not missing a lot of meals. A cab driver friend-of-a-friend reports that he talks about god and jesus a lot. He frequents drinking establishments.

I dubbed him Conway because of his hair. It is reminiscent of Conway Twitty. Conway is all about the hair.

I used to see him all the time. Damn near every day. If not while driving around, just right out my window, wandering. I'm sure I have talked about him in passing at gamelive before. Probably I have described him as an eyesore, knowing me. I'm a bad person who is going straight to hell, we know that.

I thought I saw him today but it ended up being some other really fat guy bundled up in winter attire.

It's been awhile. I wonder what happened with Conway.
 
I myself had a good hair day today tho.

It's not a statement I make idly. Months and months can pass between times that I particularly notice my hair in any kind of discriminating way. I can't even remember the last time I kept seeing my hair and thinking, noice.

But today was such a day.
