Interestingly, the cloud number didn't settle on nine until the 1980s. People threw out all sorts of cloud numbers, with the earliest being a 1935 reference to "cloud eight." Cloud seven was the most popular until the 80s.

What will the future hold?

I think a large part of the reason she made them for me was I got a hammerhead from sitting in uncomfortable chairs during our all-nighter at the hospital 2 weeks ago. She felt bad about that.

I don't care about the hammerhead; I feel like she has the bigger problems. The hammerhead is a non-issue. If it was not for having to factor it into my wiping, I would not even know it is there. No pain or itch or anything. As we discussed, for some people hammerheads are a major issue up to and including surgery. Not this hammerhead. Not at all.

But I light-heartedly mentioned the hammerhead and Jenny was like, "Ohhhh."

I'm not sure what is going on there. Whatever is streaming into his mouth must be moving very fast judging by the minimal effect of gravity on that trajectory.

I actually bought a pizza yesterday which I will have on Sunday. It is just a 5-cheese pizza which I plan to fortify with chicken, sausage, onion, prolly more cheese - and yes, pineapple.

I'm already having deep and profound feelings about that pizza.

This pizza is in the oven by the way.
