I quit smoking in 1991, however I had a brief return to cigarette smoking when my "marriage" broke up and I was also relapsing with drugs. Didn't last long though. I smoked pot for a longer time but tobacco, just a month or so.

I'd guess 1998.

I've recently stopped using creamer. I like it, I just bought some...but lately I've been thoroughly enjoying my coffee with just a little sugar.

Every once in awhile a scam artist will try to contact me, I've gotten the fake check in the mail, the whole 9 yards. The most recent one was pretty aggressive. They call you and say that paperwork was put on their desk and that they will be coming to your place of work to serve you papers. They sound professional and mean. If you talk to them which I didn't, they do their best to extract money from you under the constant threat that they will be showing up. They even give you a case # and a phone number to call back, referencing said case number. It's all fake and there is no actual debt, it's called a courier scam. I'd never fall for it but I feel bad for anyone that they have ripped off or that little old lady sitting at home losing her shit because of them. The set up:

Walmart, about 820 pm on July the 23rd. Bags of peanuts set up in groups next to eachother. Two colors, one clearly saying unsalted. The assumption WOULD BE that the OTHER COLOR IS SALTED.

The sucker: Bacon who is sitting here with saltless peanuts because of this scam. You know who likes saltless peanuts?

I'll tell you what happened. Awhile back, I started dabbling in the fancy shmancy Coffee Mate Belgian Chocolate Toffee creamer on weekends. It was my little treat. Very sweet, no doubt. Saturday-Sunday only.

Then Monday morning I would return to my hard business-like coffee.

But I guess the Coffee Mate insinuated itself into my consciousness. There were long weekends and I would stretch it out. I did a mid-week experimentation with straight sugar. Liked it. Did it again a couple weeks later. Still liked it.

BOOM - today, every coffee is with sugar.


Fokken gateway drug is what it is.
