Can earwigs eat a person? What if they were consumed really, really slowly by earwigs?

I haven't seen an earwig in a long, long time. I guess they don't go much for apartment living.

I used to see my share of earwigs at various houses. I don't remember them actually biting so maybe my idea is not the greatest.

I'm willing to compromise. I'll leave it to the entymologists to come up with the proper insect to eat them really slowly - while their song is being blasted on continuous loop about having the best day of their li-i-i-i-i-i-ves.

:excellent:

It's hard to come by trash though isn't it?

Like, if it was easy we'd all have songs getting played on the radio and going on continental tours and what not, ya know? Dating models and such.

I don't even care for the song but, ya know?

The implication is that the quality of the song in and of itself is responsible for the popularity, money etc..
I would disagree. Its an interesting question however.

I would guess that millions of people could write a song of similar quality and style if they were inclined to do so. Perhaps this bands young, quirky, douchey styling and look is appealing to some aspect of the young culture. Perhaps the band has contacts etc in the industry. Perhaps they caught some break.Who knows the particulars of how all that stuff works. (this applies to any art(?) business imo).

But the point is that if some talented musicians were willing to write a song of similar quality and style (without shooting themselves) there is no expectancy that it would also become a hit. There are many other factors involved.

As far as your guess goes......

It's wrong, wrong wrong and ----------------> wrong.

I've made my point already (and articulated it well) so I think we're done here. We will agree to disagree on that.

I do agree that industry contacts and luck do factor in but millions of people?

Wrong. Not even close.

See my original post again for why.

Maybe millions is a bit high and certainly writing a really shitty song is tough as Tron points out

I really liked the part about the hot girlfriends lol

I know I judge quality of music based on intercontinental tours and the appearance of the band member's groupies
