I don't understand the angst over telemarketers or other kinds of solicitors, or the need to formulate strategies.

Just say, "Pass thanks." Either hang up or keep walking or shut the door depending on the situation.

Do it every time without thinking. If you actually hear what they are trying to sell you have engaged them too long.

Telemarketers are a much smaller nuisance in my life than listening to people talk about them. People go on and on with their self-congratulatory little (lame-ass) strategies and trying to be clever/funny or teach them a lesson.

I appreciate the interest but no snippets. If you would like to hear it, that's great. Just listen to the whole finished product. It's not that far off.

The plan was to take her out for dinner. That would be the place of her choice. My guess is she would just say somewhere close by and not fancy. Turtle Jacks or Jack Astors or something like that. Montana's? Boston Pizza?

If I were to make her something, it would be burgers. She likes to come over for burgers. Maybe we'll do that too.

Very professional Muddy and you know what we appreciate it. My time is money and that I'm not here to waste your time or mine.

I'm very thankful that my employer pays thousands of dollars a month for the best leads, if people say they didn't put an elaborate inquiry in on a web site they are flat out lying because it's not something you can half ass and submit. I'm been in shops where they hand you the cold, cold fucking leads.

That shit sucks.

The people who panic crack me up. Dude you did the inquiry and you know it :lol: Always have to be polite though.

Personally I hate telemarketers. What a hipocrite :selfloathingforthewin:
