Eh, I don't know, Mr.XXX. I still think that artist did it wrong.

Doesn't John 3:16 or whatever claim that God sent his only son to die for our sins?

I'm not preaching. I'm just saying that picture is dumb.

Do you have any funnier ones or the Furniture Doing It Wrong Meme?

It is definitely possible to control our thoughts. It is not a black-and-white thing but thinking can be trained in an improved direction with persistent work. I know from first-hand experience.

Self-honesty is all important. Denial is a disease. I have obviously touched on that a lot in my experiences around addictions, but it applies to all things. Whatever is going on upstairs, accept it and take ownership. If it's something kinda crappy, well, guess what? - I'm human. We are flawed - join the club. Denial will not help. Denial is toxic. Denial is cancer.

I think I would like to learn more about controlling my own thought process. It seems like a long journey. Self acceptance, in every form, is extremely important, imo.

Sorry, you're wrong. The artist is clearly poking fun at the whole Trinity concept. Hence, "I impregnated a woman with myself as her child." Jesus is God. That's a pretty solid part of the doctrine.

And yet, they are both God. And there is only one God.

Everyone clear, now?

The Holy Trinity is three, distinct, divine persons (hypostases), without overlap or modality among them, who share one divine essence (ousia)— uncreated, immaterial and eternal. These three persons are typically distinguished in by their relation to each other. The Father is eternal and not begotten and does not proceed from any, the Son is eternal and begotten of the Father, and the Holy Spirit is eternal and proceeds from the Father.

Thank God that's cleared up.
