@ Matty. We are the same height give or take 1/2" and I am sitting between 195-200; I don't feel so bad now, knowing I am at least a decade older than you...

Don't fear. You will get the weight off as soon as spring comes around and you will be carrying the little one all over the place.

Work is slowing down for me, so I have been riding my spinning bike for at least 1/2 hour a day. It is not as fun as biking outside but it'll have to do til it gets a bit warmer outside.

I hope you're right MrQ, but I got bad genes man. My Dad is over 300. He was asked to do Santa for a group of 3rd graders this year - no padding involved.

I am 44 Blitty.

There is probably more sugar is sneaking into your diet than you are willing to admit. I recently went to the Dollar Store and I noticed that the cheap soda pop has about 1/2 the normal sugar of a name brand cola or ginger ale. Every bit helps.

You like your booze too so that is a lot of sugar that you probably tend to ignore.

I keep Club Soda around most of the time so I can still get the 'bubbles' and can control how much sugar goes in. Vodka/soda can get boring but at least it is lower calorie.

I also recently cut down on the amount of random ground meat that I digest. No more buying sausages at the grocery store every week. I have a Kitchen Aid mixer with the grinding attachment and have started just grinding 5 lbs of roast at a time and that way, I have a bit more of an idea what I am eating there.

That's a good start Matty. Over the holiday season, it is almost impossible....so just try to limit the losses and try to pick it up in January. How the fuck anyone can go outside and jog or cycle in this weather is beyond me. I don't even want to walk to get a pizza slice.

Cream soda is still a thing. Root beer has taken over though.

I am anal about watching my sodium intake, hence why I like the Perrier and sparkling water....no sodium, no calories, no sugar, no caffeine, no nothin, just some water with carbonation.

I don't use scales. I don't care how much I weigh, I care how my clothes fit.

Actually did a massive change here. Was I guess around 240 last I checked about 218. Breakfast typically apple maybe a banana and a piece of toast or 2. Light lunches - cheese and crackers or similar, soup a small bird from outside when I'm quick enough. For dinner pretty much what we want, chicken, crab, etc. Just a lot less food and better food for the most part. No bottles in the house, maybe a few shots if we're out and still pound beer but pretty much only Miller Lite which IS GOOD BEER :guitar: We've been walking around more which is good too. No soda whatsoever.

The next step has to be more exercise.

We're sexy and we know it or at least hope it. :pope:
