Mebbe so, mebbe so.
Some guy on the radio was attempting to generate some mirth around the idea that Prince Fielder is a vegetarian. The main thrust was basically, "There is one 300 pound vegan in the world and that's him."
That does not compute with me. When I am trying to lose weight, I can eat pretty much unlimited meat. What I cut way back on are taters and breads.
In fact that is damn near a complete description of my whole diet plan which has worked for me perfectly the dozen or so times I have drifted off the path in my adult life.
So why should a vegetarian, for whom I assume taters and breads are staples, be less prone to being overweight?
Having said that, it kind of seems like they are less prone though, doesn't it?
