Broncos being pillaged. C.J. Anderson probably gone.

A couple players from the defense gone.

It's not unusual for the champs to get picked over but this has been an aggressively in-your-face coupla days for them.

I hear they are seriously considering Colin Kaepernik.

Just to back up a step, I must declare my extreme skepticism over the Texans signing of Osweiler for 37 million guaranteed.

7 games he's played in the league??? Have I got that right?

Not quite as outlandish as the Matt Flynn situation a few years back but there are shades of it.

Well Houston's QBs sucked ugly, hairy monkey balls last year. The rest of the team is kinda decent but the QB play killed them in that last game. I agree they overpaid but knowing it made Elway mad, made me giggle. Out loud.

For a really long time.

Completely irrational.

And did you know, the Toronto Blue Jays have an ambidextrous pitcher in their organization?

Apparently he throws competently righty or lefty. Uses a 6 finger glove. (4 fingers and 2 thumbs, I'm guessing?)

Wiki says he is the only active professional pitcher who can do this.

His name is Pat Venditte (wasn't there a twerp at SBR by a name close to that?) (rhetorical question - don't really need an answer). Whatever, there is a Pat Venditte rule in baseball which says that an ambidextrous pitcher has to declare which way he will pitch at the start of an at-bat. I guess without that you have the possibility of him and a switch-hitter going back and forth - pitcher shifting the 6-finger glove and preparing to throw with the other hand, while the batter flits back and forth between sides of the plate - forever as they each try to gain the upper hand.

Gotta have a rule.

Personally I feel that the batter should have to declare but I suppose it's not a big deal.

Something weird happened at the Dortmund game. A fan in the stands had a fatal heart attack and died. Then another fan had another heart attack and got rushed to the hospital. Initially got reported that the second one also had died but towards the end they corrected it and he's stable. Both of them Dortmund fans in a pretty boring match. The crowd stayed quiet, practically silent throughout only singing You'll Never Walk Alone in Deutsch at the end.

Adam LaRoche decided to retire because Chicago White Sox Executive Vice President Ken Williams didn't want his son around the team all of the time, according to FOX Sports MLB Insider Ken Rosenthal.

Adam LaRoche is walking away from a $13 million salary in 2016.

What a choad, this LaRoche.

switchy switchy fun starts around 1 min in

That that would happen in the absence of a rule is as predicable as the sun rising in the east.

That they had to wait for it to play out and waste all that time - and only then was it like, ohhhh, I guess we need to make some kind of decision - it reminds me of the guys I work with.

Arizona with the disgraceful effort last night. I could see getting smacked around like that by a higher seed but by 11 seed witchita st? Humiliating. They lost by ten and it was much worse than that.

Lame. I fear the Cats will be lame for awhile now too....unlike recent years we dont have any breakout players.
