I will preface this by saying, yup, ATS pools are definitely more fun. I'm in a pick em pool like you and it's very yawn inducing.

But, not everyone fills their card out with every favorite on the board (but probably 90% do)?



If the Raiders had won today I would have won $320 in my pick em pool because I had teams like the Browns and stuff.

So there's that.

Very obvi, I know, but to win my pool you have to win like 13 games.
 
Had a dream last night that I was trying to ask someone if he remembered the commercial Rocket Richard did that ends with some cheeseball saying, "Hey Richard, 2 minutes for looking so good."

I kept trying to ask but there was some guy with a huge head between us. We were sitting in a row of folding chairs with big-head guy in the middle. I would move forward and bighead would move and block my way and same when I moved back.

I don't recall if there was any resolution. Just a stupid dream that went nowhere I think.


 
That AP incident is quite amusing. Half the population is like "OMG I was hit with a switch all the time as a kid and I turned out fine" and the other half is like "Why the fuck are you calling a small tree branch a switch?"

I'm not sure why all the rednecks were so quick to defend AP before they even knew the details.

Although I suspect it is because they are rednecks.
 
My mom would spank us or ask us to walk in front of her, with the understanding that we were about to get a decent slap behind the head.

A priori, that does not make more sympathetic towards Adrian Peterson.
