Even if he gets healed up to what he considers 100%, the Habs may put up resistance to playing for Team Canada. It would be somewhat understandable in principle - but it's not something I ever remember happening in hockey. In other sports, teams put up all kinds of static about players going to International competitions - Mark Cuban and basketball jump right to mind - but hockey and Canada? I wonder if the Habs would try it.

I think the Habs would actually be okay with letting him play if he's solid enough. He will have been out a long time, gotta shake off the rust.

Team Canada might not want him fresh out of the infirmary.

Is it racism when you are giving a race credit for being better than other races?

There has been a lot of discussion about who will bat lead-off for the Blue Jays this year - and one thought I kept having was, 'What about this Michael Saunders feller?' He was acquired in a trade - supposed to be a decent left fielder I hear - but then he missed the entire last season due to injury. But okay, I hear he is expected back this year and we will finally see his game.

But I saw him being interviewed last night. He's a white guy. Don't know why but I have been living under the assumption he is black for a year +.

So anyways no, that changed my mind about him batting lead-off. I want a black guy. At least brown.

Naive statement. I recall someone making the point it is racist to say Asian people are good at math and studying hard.

One should not underestimate how determined people in our times are to be offended.

Raptors having about as significant a game as you can have at this point in the season. They are the #2 seed in the east trailing #1 Cleve by 3 games - and we are hosting Lebron and the Cavs tonight.

Cleve leading by a dozen around the end of the third.

I'll be fokked if the Raps didn't come back and win that sucka.

Now trail Cleve by 2.


The NBA is so pointless in some ways. I don't believe for a second the Raptors have a chance to go further in the playoffs than Cleveland. I don't believe for a second anybody is going to beat Golden State. Barring injuries of course - but yap.

Why are we doing this? This is all pointless.
