I remember hearing about this through the grapevine, like, 6 or 7 years ago.

Yeah they've been gabbing about it quite a bit on sports radio. The tone has changed from years ago when it would pop up just rarely. The discussion used to be in a tone of skepticism, like how wingnut conspiracy theorists are viewed.

Now, it's a tone of complete acceptance of fact.

That probably sounds like I'm being sarcastic and criticizing the firing but actually, I would have fired him a long time ago (not that I would have ever hired him).

That's what my son told me! The Cavs hired him before the signing of Lebron was a done deal! Had more young players to develop then but once Lebron came aboard more vets were signed and Blatt didn't seem to gel with them well!
