Sports fans are freaking idiots though. The NHL releases its schedule for next season and the Twitter world goes wild with people complaining how difficult their team has it. You got 41 home games and 41 away. You got the same number of games over the same length of time across the same continent as every-fucking-one else.
In the words of Howard Stern's dad: I told you not to be stupid, ya moron.
Also, I hear Michelle Wie won a major golf tournament, the U.S. women's open. Do they have 5 majors per year in women's golf now? I remember that being discussed, switching from 4 to 5. Which, in my opinion, if they have 5 majors, they actually have no majors.
Don't know if they pulled the trigger on that. Don't know.
Anyway she's 24 now, Michelle Wie. I saw some footage of her and, I gotta say, I thought she looked kinda hot. Very nice form.
I repeat - she is 24. In case anyone is thinking of playing the stop-drooling-over-the-underage-kid card.
Looked good - more from a bit of a distance than really close up - but noice.
That 11 year old chick that's been playing with them has been weirding me out a little. She's so giggly in the interviews that's it's like dude, that girl on ESPN now is so young.
To close the loop on an earlier query, yes, the LPGA now has 5 tournaments designated as majors. They added a 5th just last year. They went from 4 majors to 5.
That is too many. When you start having too many things designated as special, they are no longer special.
The question is, how many is too many? What is that magic number where a small select group of special things becomes too many and therefore too ordinary?
